Summer Night’s Dream
Summer Night’s Dream
Rudely I awaken from a summer night’s dream suddenly I saw your smile.
Lessons I’ve been learning whisper softly in my ear. Think I’ll sit and stay awhile.
Often times I think about what I’m doing here, will I ever see things clear?
Lately I wakened from a summer night’s dream, sweat pouring down my side.
Vision of a better day lost before its time, think I’ll sit and drink some wine.
Feeling like I lost a little innocence today, something I can’t explain.
After I awakened from a summer night’s dream, everyday remains the same
