This is the Dirty

This is the Dirty… these phony broke folks is treacherous

Sunday, I finally find the downtown library. Hopefully, I’m not disclosing a well-kept secret,
but many public libraries are magnets for the homeless population. This is something I have known for quite some time.
In Dallas, a few guardians of all that is good, and pure began pushing for city ordinances that targeted the homeless.
Being a grassroots political activist, I opposed. Fortunately, that proposed ordinance never gained momentum.
This victory for the people owes not to successful liberal strategy, but due to the fact that the opposition’s proposal was just plain irrational.
As fate would have it, nature informed that it was time to go. Ascertaining the layout,
I located the restroom. The door was locked. The sign read. “See receptionist for key.”
Almost immediately, a homeless brother appeared. [With key in hand] “Wow,” [sounding astonished] the door is locked,” I said.
“I got the key, said the unknown fellow, [Displaying a key] There’s more than one stall in here.
They try to put you through all kind of changes just to use a bathroom. I’m not from here.
I come from a real city. [Boston] You in the Dirty Dirty. These phony broke folks is treacherous….”
